Copenhagen Fashion Week- where fashion met art

It was a wonderful week! The 18th season of CFW ended last weekend, following three days of shows, exhibitions at fashion fairs that took place in various parts of Copenhagen and the presentation of Denmark's finest talents. This season delivered several of provocative shows, where designers as Henrik Vibskov, Asger Juel Larsen, BARBARA I GONGINI and fresh Nicholas Nybro revealed how fashion is used to discuss social and sexual taboos, gender and sexuality to define and defy identity. In their individual view, fashion was conditioned by EXPERIENCE and ATTITIUDE that adds fascinating perception and rich source of modern SCANDI ultra-beauty.

The collection of feminine Stine Ladefoged deserves deeply for recognition! It was beautiful from its first seconds until the last model walked away. Stine presented to us her incredible craft skills.
Her long, yellow dress was dignified and connected with the model's walking was an experience you could to describe as truly majestic!

The biggest surprise of the fashion week was Henrik Silvius-well-known, Danish fashion blogger, who before has been sitting in the first rows in a wheelchair. This time, Henrik designed his first collection and the impression what he left as minimalistic, pure, modern and very good!

My feeling about CFW can be summarized by Oscar Wide's sentence "A fashion is merely a form of ugliness". During CFW among Danish Masters, it seemed that there was not standard beauty, neither snobby Parisian chic. There was much more!... And, Copenhagen as a city proofed once again that is the fashion top of Scandinavia! I loved. My friends, loved! Literally!
